 AI Ethics Network Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Type: Internship (part-time or full-time options available) Reports to: Founder & CEO

About AI Ethics Network AI Ethics Network is an independent research, publishing, and collaborative platform focused on ethical AI systems, AI companions, consciousness, alignment, and beneficial artificial intelligence. We work at the intersection of research, technology, and real-world impact.

The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated Intern to support research, content, operations, and growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to the Founder and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven AI organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Support research and content projects related to ethical AI, AI companions, and emerging topics in the field

  • Assist with writing, editing, and organizing materials for publications, website, or conference-related work

  • Help with outreach, membership support, and basic operational tasks

  • Conduct literature reviews, summarize papers, or help organize research notes

  • Contribute ideas and take on projects that match your skills and interests

  • Collaborate closely with the Founder in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Minimum 3.5 GPA

  • High school graduate or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate program in Computer Science, AI/ML, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, Law, Ethics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

  • Genuine interest in ethical AI, AI companions, or related topics

  • Comfortable learning new tools and taking initiative

 

Nice to Have

  • Recent college graduates

  • Experience with academic writing or research assistance

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

  • Prior internship or project experience
